The 76ers play the 2nd game of their Summer League campaign tonight vs. the Atlanta Hawks. Tip-off is at 9:00pm EST on ESPN 2 at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although this game will not be as nerve-racking as game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, it should be an exciting game with young talent at display.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have had an exciting Summer League so far, led by 2021 NBA Draft selectees Jalen Johnson (pick 20) and Sharife Cooper (pick 48). All in all, Atlanta is 1-1 in their first two games and sit at 15th place in the narrow NBA Summer League standings. In their first game, Jalen Johnson recorded a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in a close loss against Boston 85-83. Subsequently, Sharife Cooper hit a game-winning three with 21 points and 9 assists vs. Indiana.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers opened up their Summer League season with a blowout win vs. the Dallas Mavericks 95-73. Philadelphia is led by standout Tyrese Maxey, 2020 G-League MVP Paul Reed, and sharpshooter Isaiah Joe. The backcourt of Maxey and Joe had pure offensive firepower with Maxey dropping a team-high 21 points and Joe hitting 4 threes in a 15 point performance against Dallas. Philadelphia is looking to extend to 2-0 tonight and remain undefeated.
