Happy Friday everyone! The 76ers are set to take on the contending Los Angeles Clippers tonight at 7:00 pm EST on ESPN. The last time these two faced off Los Angeles had their way, winning 122-112. However, Philadelphia will have the MVP candidate Joel Embiid this time around.

About The Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are 39-18 on the year and possess the third seed in the Western Conference. They are on an impressive seven-game win streak and are looking to extend it even further tonight. Their latest win was a close one in Detroit 100-98 where Reggie Jackson had a 29 point performance. However, the Clippers have been without their star Kawhi Leonard for three consecutive games due to a right foot injury. He’s listed as questionable for tonight and Serge Ibaka (lower back) as well as Patrick Beverley (left hand) will be sidelined.

Projected starters: Jackson, George, Kennard, Morris Sr., Zubac.

About The 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers now have a one-game advantage for 1st place in the Eastern Conference with a 38-17 record. Their latest win came from the Brooklyn Nets 123-117 and as a result they won the season series 2-1. Joel Embiid had another dominant performance consisting of 39 points and 13 rebounds. Philadelphia could be without the services of Tobias Harris tonight with him being listed as questionable due to right knee soreness. Harris informed the media about this issue the other night and told them he’s listed as day-to-day. Likewise, Dwight Howard who was out against the Nets, is now questionable with left knee soreness. Once again, George Hill is out due to thumb surgery recovery.

Projected starters: Simmons, Curry, Green, Scott, Embiid
