  • Mamu performed well in the catch and shoot last season (1.12 PPP, 70th percentile, 37.5 FG%)
  • Mamu ranked near the top of college basketball, scoring in the 96th percentile for PNR plays including passes (1.169 PPP) on 71 possessions

Mamu’s fit with the Philadelphia 76ers

If Mamu can tighten up his defense, this could be a very good fit for the Philadelphia 76ers. He’s the ideal stretch big to play 10-15 minutes per night backing up Joel Embiid. He’s a playmaker with a very good feel for the game and does well creating for others in a half court offense. Mamu has amazing footwork that really helps his effectiveness around the rim. Most importantly, Mamu thrives in the pick and roll which is an area Doc Rivers must emphasize more on offense next season. He’s is a stretch big that checks a lot of boxes as a prospect and would be a clear fit for Doc Rivers’ system.

#4 Isaiah Livers

  • Height: 6’7.25

  • Wingspan: 6’9.25

Isaiah Livers’ fit with the Philadelphia 76ers

Isaiah Livers is a bit on the older side as a prospect, as he recently turned 22 years of age. However, shooting will always be a premium in the NBA and Livers is one of the best catch and shoot, knock down snipers from 3 point range in the entire draft. He’s got a ton of range and beautiful form. For a team like the Sixers who are looking for guys who can come in, know their role within the offense, and space the floor with ease, Isaiah Livers is a clear fit. He might not have the ceiling as some of the other players on this list, but he’s very clearly one of the safer picks to be found in the second round.

#3 Kessler Edwards

  • Height: 6’8
  • Weight: 203
  • Wingspan: 6’11.25
  • School: Pepperdine

  • Shot 87.6% from the free throw line last season on 6.3 per 100 possessions
  • Great finisher in transition, with close to 70% aFG%

Kessler Edwards’ fit with the Philadelphia 76ers

First up, Kessler Edwards shows great versatility on defense and he should be able to defend 4 positions in the NBA. While his form may be a bit unconventional, he’s a fantastic shooter with tons of potential. Any player who can consistently knock down threes while providing adequate perimeter defense will always have a spot on the Philadelphia 76ers. After watching the Sixers struggle against the Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs, it’s clear that they need to add length on the perimeter. Edwards should have little difficulty spacing the floor and defending both forward spots at the next level.

#2 Joe Wieskamp

  • Height: 6’7.25
  • Weight: 204
  • Wingspan: 6’11
  • School: Iowa

Key Stats:

  • One of the best off ball shooters in the class, shooting 46.7% from 3 in 5.1 attempts per game
  • 97th percentile in the catch and shoot (1.46 PPP)
  • 95th percentile in the catch and shoot when guarded (1.403 PPP)
  • 95th Percentile in overall offense, with a 118.1 offensive rating and 62% TS%
  • 90th percentile in transition offense (1.33 PPP) and 88th percentile coming off of screens (1.29 PPP)
  • Proficient defender in the pick and roll as well (66th percentile)

Joe Wieskamp’s fit with the Philadelphia 76ers

Catch and shoot. Catch and shoot. Catch and shoot. Joe Wieskamp has effortless range and easily one of the best shooters in the draft class. Most importantly, this is a prospect who took 9.5 attempts per 100 possessions last season. Meanwhile, the Sixers were almost dead last in three point field goal attempts per game in the 2021 NBA Playoffs. A guy like Joe Wieskamp who can fly around screens and put pressure on a defense with his shot will always be welcome in Philadelphia. If he’s sitting there at pick #50, Daryl Morey better SPRINT to the podium and make this selection.

#1 Isaiah Todd

  • Height: 6’10
  • Weight: 219
  • Wingspan: 7’1.25
  • School: G League Ignite

Key Stats:

  • Isaiah Todd hit 36.2% of his 47 three-point attempts last season (5.1 attempts per 40 minutes)
  • Todd thrived in transition in the G League (1.29 PPP, 90th percentile, 16/24 from the floor)
  • Isaiah Todd needs to show improvement in the PNR (1.0 PPP, 46th percentile)
  • Low efficiency shooting (53% TS%) and converted just 58.3% of his 36 attempts at the rim

Isaiah Todd’s fit with the Philadelphia 76ers

Isaiah Todd’s biggest selling point is his combination of size, shooting potential and shot versatility. He’s an intriguing modern day big with floor spacing and big time pick and roll potential. This is your classic boom or bust draft pick in the NBA Draft. He’s got an incredibly high ceiling and room for growth. With Tobias Harris getting up there in age, bringing in a guy like Isaiah Todd to groom under Harris as the team’s future stretch 4 is a no brainer.
