The mercury is rising here at Money Makers. Our heat streak continued through week 3 as we went a perfect 3-0 and added 6.37 units to our bankroll. The Steelers’ offense did everything they could to lose the game, but getting a TD was too much and turned into an easy cover. The Colts took care of business vs. the Falcons, and the Texans won outright on the road vs. the Chargers.

3-Star Plays
Saints +2.5 (Buy to +3) – Sunday Night
Despite losing Drew Brees, the Saints went into Seattle and won by 6 while holding a 27-7 lead heading into the 4th quarter. A lot of people were quick to write the Saints off after Brees went down, but Bridgewater isn’t horrible (neither is Taysom Hill), and they have a good defense. The Cowboys, meanwhile, have played teams with a 1-8 combined record. While they have looked quite impressive offensively, they are in for a rude awakening versus the Saints. Giving points to the Saints at home is not profitable as the Saints are 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS as home underdogs since 2015. Add in the fact that only 34% of bets are on the Saints but the line dropped from 3 to 2.5, and we can see the money is on New Orleans. Take the Saints to end the Cowboys’ undefeated season.
(I recommend doing a split bet here, bet 1.5 units on the Saints +3 and 1.5 units on their moneyline).
2-Star Plays
Titans +4
We look to continue our trend of betting against the Falcons. If not for playing a banged up Eagles squad and taking advantage of a very bad defensive play call at the end of the game, the Falcons would be 0-3 right now. Playing at home certainly helps, but the Titans are a team that doesn’t beat themselves (only one turnover on the year so far) and have a +1.33 turnover margin per game to start the year. The Falcons could very well win this game, but it won’t be by more than 3 points. I’ll be taking the Titans to win, and getting 4 points is way too good to pass up.
TEASER: Chargers -9.5 with Chiefs -0.5
This one is pretty straight forward. The Chargers are playing the Dolphins, and I don’t know if Miami will lose any game by single digits this year. On the other side, the Chiefs are the clear best team in the league. The Lions are not horrible, and they’re at home, but getting the Chiefs to just win the game is too good to pass up.
