Time & Where To Watch
The Eagles vs Steelers game will start at 7:30EST. You can watch it on NBC10 in the Philadelphia area. You can also listen to the game on 94WIP. In the Pittsburgh area, you can watch it on KDKA-TV (CBS).
Will The Starters Play?
Yes! The starters will play. We aren’t sure how long they’ll play but they will. I wouldn’t expect the starters to play very long.
Will Devonta Smith Play?
While Devonta hasn’t been officially ruled out, he will most likely not play. He hasn’t practiced in a while & it doesn’t make sense to rush him back.
Players To Watch
There are some players to watch for the Eagles. They all are fighting this camp & preseason for roster spots & these games are huge for them
• WR Hakeem Butler
Butler recently moved back to WR after trying out TE last year. He will get a lot of playing time & has a chance to show out. His chances of making the roster aren’t very big at all, so these games will be huge for him & will ultimately decide his fate
• WR Quez Watkins
The training camp standout himself Quez Watkins will have a huge chance to show what he’s made of. He’s been spectacular at camp & I expect him to make the team but he still has to earn his spot.
• HB Jason Huntley
Huntley has looked great in camp so far. He’s making himself a tough cut. He’s fast & can be a great returner. These preseason games will be huge for him (obviously) as he looks to make the roster.
• TE Tyree Jackson
Like Watkins & Huntley, Jackson has been a training camp standout. He used to be a QB & he transitioned into a TE. He’s 6’7 & is strong so he has a great build.
Eagles football is finally upon us! Tonight’s game vs the Steelers will be the 1st time Lincoln Financial Field is open to full capacity crowds! Anyway, that’s the preview for tonight’s game. Fly Eagles Fly!
