Demi Lovato has been in the news ever since she popped up in the Disney sphere over a decade ago. She has been through a lot, according to entertainment news, and I have always admired her strength in rising above the ashes when she gets burned.
The most recent news from Demi is that her pronoun of choice is now they. Demi originally came out as non-binary in May 2021.
“It would mean the world if people could start identifying me as they/them,” Lovato said. “I think it’s important because I want to use these pronouns that feel right to me.”
Demi Lovato raising awareness for human rights
Now, Demi Lovato announced a new campaign with Propeller to raise money for organizations important to them. Those include Human Rights Campaign (HRC), The Trevor Project, and The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.
One of the campaign’s sweepstakes and auction prizes will include a Demi-curated wellness-themed trip to Joshua Tree, CA. The trip features a stay at the Invisible House where Demi has stayed and had taken promo photos for their latest album Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over. This trip also includes a professional photoshoot, a special gift bag with some of Demi’s favorite products, and a sound bath meditation at The Integratron–the famed dome structure built on an intersection of powerful geomagnetic forces in Landers, CA.
Auction and Sweepstakes
Propeller and Demi just-announced a new auction and sweepstakes items including custom made jackets that they’ve worn, footwear from their Tell Me You Love Me World Tour, and a blouse from the 2010 Camp Rock 2 movie.
Entries are open now and close on August 31, 2021.
