DALLAS COWBOYS @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Cowboys offense sputtered again for the second time in three weeks in a 19-9 loss in Kansas City. Dallas turned the ball over three times, including two picks from Dak Prescott, and managed just 276 total yards. Prescott was also sacked five times on the day and threw for just 216 yards on 28/43 passing.
The Dallas defense played well, including forcing two turnovers of their own and sacking Patrick Mahomes three times. However, the Chiefs’ two first half rushing touchdowns were all they needed. Both came on goal line runs from Clyde Edwards-Helaire and a surprising carry from Travis Kelce.
Cowboys Week 12 Opponent- Raiders at home, Thursday at 4:30
New Orleans Saints @ PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles ran all over the number one ranked run defense in the NFL in a 40-29 game that gave Philadelphia its first home win of the season. Hurts ran for 69 yards and three touchdowns including an electrifying 24-yard scramble late in the fourth to quell any thoughts of a Saints rally. As a whole, the Eagles racked up 242 rushing yards on 50 attempts.
The Eagles defense stifled Trevor Siemian for three quarters until a small rally in the fourth. Darius Slay scored his third TD in the last four games with a pick-six with under a minute left in the second quarter. The score was 33-7 until early in the fourth when Siemian and the Saints rattled off 12 unanswered points before Hurts’ run.

WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM @ Carolina Panthers
Taylor Heinicke threw 3 touchdowns against the league’s top ranked pass defense to lead Washington to a 27-21 win. The Football Team QB finished with the three scores on 16/22 passing and 206 yards. Terry McLaurin was Heinicke’s favorite target as he caught 5 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
Washington’s defense struggled to contain Cam Newton in his homecoming in Carolina. Newton threw for 189 yards on 21/27 passing with 2 TDs and added another 46 yards and a score on the ground. However, Washington’s defense made a stand when needed, sacking Newton on fourth down at the 50 yard line with 1:11 left to play.
Football Team Week 12 Opponent- Seahawks at home, Monday Night at 8:15
NEW YORK GIANTS @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Giants struggled to do anything on offense and were easily handled by the Buccaneers 30-10. New York was outgained 402-215 and committed three turnovers including two interceptions from Daniel Jones. Jones finished with 167 yards and a TD with those two picks on 23/38 passing. The performance was apparently sufficiently bad enough to cost offensive coordinator Jason Garrett his job on Tuesday.
Tampa Bay scored on the opening drive and never trailed after. The Giants were held scoreless in the second half as Tom Brady and the Bucs rattled off 13 unanswered points. Brady threw for 307 yards with two scores and a pick on 30/46 passing against the Giants defense.
