Recap

Denver Broncos @ DALLAS COWBOYS

The Cowboys suffered a massive upset at home as they were utterly dominated by the Broncos stout defense. The score was 30-0 Denver until late in the fourth quarter when Dallas scored twice to make the final 30-16. Dallas was held to just 290 total yards of offense and possessed the ball for just a little over 18 minutes.

The Dallas defense struggled to get off the field all game. Teddy Bridgewater was efficient passing and the Broncos rushing attack controlled the game. Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon combined for 191 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries and Bridgewater completed 19/28 for 249 yards and a touchdown through the air. Wide receiver Tim Patrick made numerous big catches to extend drives and finished with four catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.

Los Angeles Chargers @ PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

The Eagles stayed with the Chargers all game but were ultimately sunk by a field goal with two seconds left to lose 27-24. Philadelphia’s defense could not stop Justin Herbert and the Chargers passing offense. Herbert finished 32/38 for 356 yards and two touchdowns and was only hit once.

Jalen Hurts led some clutch drives late to keep the game tied but his defense didn’t give him a chance to go for the win. Hurts did most of his damage with his legs, as he rushed for 62 yards on 10 carries as a part of a strong Eagles ground game. Hurts, Jordan Howard, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell totaled 176 yards and 2 TDs on 39 carries. DeVonta Smith had 116 of Philadelphia’s 162 receiving yards on 5 catches including a score.

Eagles Week 10 Opponent- @Broncos, Sunday at 4:25

Las Vegas Raiders @ NEW YORK GIANTS

The Giants were one of many upsets in the NFL this week, as they beat the Raiders 23-16 thanks to two interceptions from Xavier McKinney. One of McKinney’s picks was a pick-six on the first drive of the second half. New York forced three total turnovers and scored 10 points off of them to offset being out-gained 403-205 in total offense.

Daniel Jones hit Evan Engram for a TD on the game’s first drive for New York’s only offensive touchdown. Jones finished 15/20 for 110 yards and that opening drive score. Devonte Booker was the leading rusher with 99 yards on 21 carries before leaving with an injury. Graham Gano handled most of the scoring duties with three field goals as the Giants were 0-2 in the red zone.
