One of the best 90’s cartoons of all time could be returning soon. If things go according to plan, this would be a very underrated win for Disney+.

Superstar director James Wan showed support for the recently canceled DCU series Swamp Thing. In agreement with Wan, I’ve loved what I’ve seen so far. Fingers crossed it gets picked up for a second season in the very near future.

Breath of the Wild Sequel Teased

My favorite open-world, RPG game of all time is coming to the Nintendo Switch!!! It will run at a resolution of 720p while docked and 540p while in handheld mode. You can return to sailing across the Skellige Isles when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases later this year.

Gerard Butler returns as Secret Agent Mike Banning for the third time. Angel Has Fallen looks absolutely ridiculous in all the best ways. Angel Has Fallen hits theaters on August 23rd.

Quentin Tarantino wants an R-Rated Star Trek Film
A Quentin Tarantino Star Trek film has been in the works for a long time. In an interview with Empire, Tarantino has this to say about a potential Star Trek movie, “It’s an R-rated movie. If I do it, it’ll be R-rated.”
Lobo Spinoff Series in the Works
Thanks to Krypton, Lobo will be getting his own spinoff series on Syfy in the near future.
Dave Bautista wants to play Bane in the DCEU
The former WWE Champion Dave Bautistic revealed on Twitter recently that he would be interested in playing the villain who broke Batman’s back. We know that Catwoman and Penguin are the main villains in the upcoming film The Batman. We also know that The Batman is scheduled to be a trilogy. Could Bane be making his big screen return?

Netflix nabs Coco Writer for Narnia Reboot
The Chronicles of Narnia is getting a reboot on Netflix via series of movies and TV shows. It was announced on Thursday morning that Coco writer Matthew Aldrich will be the creative architect for the massive upcoming project. Netflix owns the rights to all seven The Chronicles of Narnia books, and there is currently no word as to which book will be used first. This is a great win for Netflix, who is attempting to go toe-to-toe with Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings series.
The Batman will have 2-6 villains
More rumors leaked about villains featured in the solo Batman flick. You can now add Mad Hatter and Two-Face to the list of rumored villains in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. These are the latest two to join the already rumored list of Catwoman, The Riddler, and Penguin.

Hagrid-Themed Coaster Opens at Universal
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, the much anticipated new Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios, opened to the public today. Harry Potter fans will fly through the Forbidden Forest and the grounds of Hogwarts. It is the longest rollercoaster in Florida and has seven total launches, the most of any rollercoaster in the world. Spoiler Warning: I have attached a POV video of the new coaster.
Sequel to The Shining Trailer Releases
Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shining, released the first trailer on Thursday. It hits theaters on November 8th. Heeeeerrre’s Ewan!
Spider-Man: Far From Home tracking 150-160 OW
Spider-Man, Spider-Man, makes more money than a spider can.
No surprise to anyone, but Spider-Man: Far From Home is projecting very well at the box office. It’s looking like Far From Home will easily defeat Homecoming, which made $117 million opening weekend.

Details Emerge about A Quiet Place Sequel
Brian Tyree Henry revealed some new information in an interview with The Observer (via Slashfilm). Director John Krasinki’s sequel to A Quiet Place will dive further into the origins of the aliens, as well as continue the story of the original family’s survival.
Bradley Cooper Joins Guillermo Del Toro Horror Flick
What a duo! According to The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like Bradley Cooper is locked in to join Guillermo Del Toro’s next project titled Nightmare Alley. Del Toro is fresh off his Oscar winning film The Shape of Water, and his next work will be a stop animation re-telling of Pinocchio on Netflix. Obviously, this is Del Toro we’re talking about, therefore this Pinocchio film will be dark and not intended for family audiences.
