DALLAS COWBOYS @ New Orleans Saints
The Dallas defense picked off Taysom Hill four times en-route to a 27-17 road win on Thursday night. They won the game despite head coach Mike McCarthy being absent as he is in the COVID protocols. The fourth and final interception was a 29-yard pick six from Carlos Watkins with a little under three minutes remaining in the fourth to push the Cowboys’ lead to three scores. Trevon Diggs also added an interception, as he is now up to 9 picks in 12 games this season.Â
The Cowboys’ offense wasn’t particularly impressive but they did enough to win on the back of their defense. Dak Prescott finished 26/40 for 238 yards with a TD and an interception while Tony Pollard was the leading rusher with 7 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown. CeeDee Lamb registered 7 catches for 89 yards in his return from injury.Â
