The 76ers are taking on the Miami Heat tonight at 7:30 pm EST. You can watch on TNT or listen on 97.5 The Fanatic. Earlier this season, Philadelphia swept a short-handed Miami team in a mini two-game series, which featured a Dakota Mathias dagger. With a victory tonight, the Sixers would win the season series against the Heat 3-0.
About The Heat
The Miami Heat are in an intense battle with the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks for 4th place in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta currently has the 4 spot, but both Miami and New York are one game out. The Heat are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are coming off two straight wins over the Boston Celtics. Additionally, Miami is heading into tonight’s contest on a three-game winning streak. Though the Heat have some momentum, it was reported by Shams Charania that trade-deadline acquisition Victor Oladipo will miss the remainder of the season due to an upcoming surgery for his right quadriceps tendon. Also, star Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable (eye), but is expected to play according to Ira Winderman.
About The Sixers

Shake Milton and Furkan Korkmaz are probable.
Jimmy Butler is questionable for the Heat (right eye contusion).
The Philadelphia 76ers are one win away from clinching 1st place in the Eastern Conference for the first time since the 2000-2001 season. Philadelphia is looking to bounce back from a frustrating loss against the Indiana Pacers 103-94, where they were hit with injuries and could have clinched the 1st seed. As of the 1:30 pm EST, Shake Milton (knee) and Furkan Korkmaz (ankle) are both considered probable. Likewise, Matisse Thybulle (hand) and Joel Embiid (non-covid related illness) are questionable. Furthermore, John Clark reported last night that Joel Embiid is not with the team in Miami. The Sixers have a record of 9-11 without Joel Embiid this season.
