According to a team source, the 76ers will be announcing a new official partnership with Planet Fitness today. The multi-year deal will make the rapidly growing fitness center an official partner of the 76ers ENT, which includes Squad 76 and Sixers Stixers.
This “tying of the knot” corresponds with the grand opening of a new Planet Fitness location in Philadelphia. To celebrate the launch of the partnership, the Sixers and PF will hold an event later today at the new Center City location (1128 Chestnut St.). The event, which will last from 4-6pm, will feature Squad 76, Sixers Stixers, and a special jersey presentation.
